So here's the deal... We
realize that few people ever take a New Year's resolution serious, so
we're giving you an incentive.
Starting January 1st, bring yourself and your bike to get
weighed-in (that's right, both of you). You'll have 60 days from
when you sign in to shed as many pounds as possible. You can stop
eating all that junk food or you can simply upgrade the components on
your bike. Either way, at the end of those 60 days, we'll weigh
you in again and whoever loses the most weight, wins!
What's the prize? It's a
$300.00 gift card from
Cyclist Connection.
Unfortunately, time has past to participate. You must have weighed in
previous to February 1st to be eligable. A winner
will be drawn at end of day on April 1st. Good luck and... here
are the rules.

CONTEST RULES: |
|
1. You must be smarter than a 5th grader to enter (this means all
employees of Cyclist Connection, including Todd, are NOT eligible
for this contest).
2. Standard "Summer" cycling attire must be worn during weigh-in
(shirt, shorts and shoes only). No jackets. Helmets and gloves are
not required.
3. No water bottles
or bags will be permitted on the bike (and yes, we know all the
tricks of filling your tires with water or your frame with weights).
Each bike will be inspected thoroughly to guarantee fairness
throughout the contest.
4. Any permanently
attached components (rear racks, computers, mirrors, kickstands,
etc.) will be noted and must remain attached at both weigh-ins
(upgrades can be made for a lighter weight components, but must be
reattached to the bike).
5. Any upgrades to
the bike (including a new bike) must be accompanied by a receipt
showing the purchase was made within the 60 days of the contest.
6. For every purchase
made from a different shop (other than Cyclist Connection), $10 will
be deducted from the grand prize... no, not really :) We
actually encourage you to support your local shop, whoever that may
be.
7. Above all... Have
